Fabric is easier to choose in person, with the sample in your hand. Come by the shop, go through the books, and talk it over with Andre and Maria, who each have 15 years of upholstery experience.
Picking upholstery fabric is not only about color. A pattern with a large repeat takes more yardage. A loose weave behaves differently on a tight-fitting seat than a firm one. A fabric that looks perfect in a sample book can read completely differently once it is stretched over a chair back or wrapped across a cornice board.
That is the advantage of choosing fabric where the work is done. Tell us the piece, how the room gets used, and who uses it, and we will point you toward materials that suit the job and away from ones that will not wear well on it.

Seat, bench, window seat, and daybed cushions, including contrast welting if you want the edge to stand out. See custom cushions, or outdoor cushions if the piece lives on a porch or patio, where sun and humidity matter to the choice.

Can I take samples home?
Ask when you are in the shop. Seeing a fabric in your own light, next to your furniture and wall color, is the best way to judge it.
How much fabric will my project need?
It depends on the piece, the pattern repeat, and details like welting or skirts. We will work out yardage as part of your quote.
Do you sell fabric on its own?
Fabric selection is part of the work we do for customers. If you are after fabric for something else, ask us and we will tell you whether we can help.
